So Ralf Rangnick resigns in a season that Hoffenheim actually prove to be a dangerous and threatening team. Interesting to see reasons why.

Rangnick, also according to @karlsentk, is a qualified English teacher and a great figurehead. "Progressive thinker". Fate?

Well we have an (away) game on weds night, plus mancs away next Sunday.
Perhaps they want to stand half a chance of staying in the FA Cup beyond 4pm next sunday?
So why nit yesterday or the day before? What I'm getting at is that if today's game didn't matter to them, he'd already be gone. If it did, we won so it's unlikely they'll sack him straight after.

Heard of him but have no first hand knowledge. He's another of the new breed, highly rated by many. Looks like we're gonna have to go down that route, rather than one of the old school list of top names.

Maybe they want to give a new man a few days at least, to gather the squad together and prepare for a game. I dunno. They couldnt have done it yesterday because it would've meant zero preparation time for today's game.
If they do it tonight, a new guy would have the maximum amount of time possible to prepare for the next game, given it's just 4 days away.
