Thanjk you.

I don't think any criticism can be levelled at him for his quotes on the fans yesterday. In fact it came across as succinct and well thought out. If only he could have adopted this approach earlier. It's not the team displays that have caused my utter exasperation with the man. It's his own views on our players, our pedigree, our teams performance and the almost 'pantomime baddy-esq' way he defends his own ability.
Given that I'm appalled that at 10:47 on a Friday he's still here. Weekend wrecking behaviour by NESV.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
Hmm. I really think using an individual's words to make a comment about a group of people is not helpful. It happens all the time on here - 'you're only saying that because you're a member of SOS/the RCDNW brigade/the anti-Rafa boo boys' - and it rarely illuminates and always inflames.
You're right that a lot of us are very sensitive to even the smallest thing with Hodger but if there were only small things to worry about then we wouldn't be so sensitive. The question then is whether you disagree with my interpretation or whether you think it doesn't matter. Is it a small thing or nothing at all?
It's not really about double standards - consistency is important but it's ultimately unattainable and it's not the be-all and end-all. I do however feel if you want to attack or criticise what I've said then say what you mean and don't draw conclusions about or lump me in with others as it doesn't help the discussion.
Other than that broader point, the issue is a molehill so I'm happy to forget all about it.
Fair enough, although I have to comment that I never quoted you, I was elaborating on what Operation said and it was you that somehow took that as a personal attack on you. and perhaps that just underlines my point
I thought that the particular sentence where taken out of context with reference to the complete quote above, and that was my basis for saying what I said. To me it's a strange thing to highlight if you look at the order in which Hodgson commented on what happened.
I really want Roy gone and cant stand watching us play right now , BUT, I really feel sorry for Roy rather than hate him.
He obviously didnt plan it to go this tits up. He had the hardest man to follow and all the boardroom nonsense too .
Hopefully Roy leaves soon enough so that even he could look back on it soon and smile n joke about it oneday.
(rather than get us relegated and lose all our best players that is .)
Good post, the vilification Roy is getting is pretty moronic atm and smacks of a group of teenagers losing their rag.
Sure, Roy is not doing well and the team is performing poorly, but unfortunately it is just a result of a number of factors that have been in Roy's control and those that havent. However it is time for a change because I personally do not think he can change this around based on what I have seen so far from his record at Liverpool.
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

I can understand why some people are getting het up
I never wanted him as manager but thought that he was a decent bloke
However I do think he has damaged his off field reputation (amongst LFC fans) due to his actions over the past few weeks
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
Is there any truth in the rumour that Hodgson was involved in a bar brawl at the MOBO origin awards?
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
Woy has totally and utterly killed any kind of renewed energy and hope following the takeover. It will be interesting to see if the atmosphere on Sunday remains subdued (because of Woy still being there) or if the fans will be genunely up for it now that NESV are the owners. NESV really should listen to the fans and get rid of this gimp asap. As Al-Fayed predicted, he is taking us downhill and fast.
