If he was the manager of any other club, I would be LMAO at these comments.

“They base them on results and then they try and find all kinds of other reasons why the result was what it was but for me, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be backed up by David Moyes, our performance today was a good one.

After the game, which leaves the Reds facing a relegation battle ahead, Hodgson told radio station talkSPORT, “I can’t ask more of the players than they’ve given the club. I thought their workrate was outstanding, our passing was very good, our movement was good and Everton were fortunate enough to be able to defend on the back of a two-goal cushion. I think it might have been a different story had they not had the two-goal cushion

As long as it didnt come from Hicks or Gillett, there's a chance it might be true.

Rafa won at Goodison almost habitually. For Roy, it's a 'dream'

Was the mood amongst our fans as glum and desperate as i imagine? Did you hear one person stick up for Roy?

Nobody sticking up for him but i didnt really hear many having an audible go at him. But i dont think that's because they still have faith - they're just used to the **** now.

If i'm being honest, after the usual pre-match bravado and passion, it didnt take long before the away following adopted a fairly 'resigned' tone. It struck me as though most were expecting to lose and werent remotely surprised by what happened.

I had the same feelings. I didn't even bat an eye lid when they scored, and I'm not as down as I would expect myself to be. Put simply, I expected us to lose today and the result comes as no suprise.
                            Forwards.......

I felt like that watching it on the telly.....fully expected us to lose and wasn't remotely surprised as the goals went in. Grim

Aye I sat there completely numb too, didn't even swear. My prediction was bang on, saw it coming a mile off. The takeover/removal of H&G was epic but it was never gonna make a ****e of difference today. Not while he's still here.
