I'm talking about the Rafa debate in general, anyone who has been around the LFC forums can back me up on that, there has been a divide for quite some time now.

And because Roy has failed it has brought a backlash for the pro rafa camp, evidence is in the hundreds of posts about this. And i never wanted Roy mate and want him gone just as much as you do, but that doesn't mean to say it was a mistake sacking Rafa.

I'm not alone in that opinion just as you aren't alone in yours, it was never anything personal with me about Rafa, just felt he had to go just as i feel Roy has to go, nothing personal just for the good of the club.

Well not really lets be honest. I know your the most staunch Rafa supporter out there. Did you know how good that team was before he took over? There were excellent players there before he arrived, the were the were the nearly men under Cuper losing "2" consecutive Champs League finals.

Rafa came into one of the best squads in the world at that time and didn't even need to buy any players, he bought Mista who only materialized few years later but he had such a top side that he didn't need an additions.

He did a fantastic job, gave them the direction they needed and ultimately they were a better team under him, but you leave out some very very important facts when you talk about his time at Valencia, very selective.

He took over Valencia when they stopped spending big money. They had to sell a couple of their best players. Mendieta was one of the best players in the world at that time and he had to sell him to Lazio. He of course then got a bad knee injury and wasn't the same player after that.

It would be like we had sold Gerrad when he took over after Houllier. So the excellent side wasn't so excellent anymore because the best player had been sold.

If you search LDP's posts, the amount of posts featuring the word 'Rafa' is laughable. He goes on (and on and on and on) about "pro Rafa fans", but the kid is obsessed. Totally obsessed. His relentless anti-Benitez agenda has seen him booted all over numerous LFC fans and ultimately booted off. Little wonder.

I left a well known feepaying () LFC website due to this (and Lucas hating) last year. However I felt I was quite liking the majority of posters and banter on EST, and am disappointed to find myself reading the same diatribe a year on.

On the plus side, where is this 'ignore' function they speak of?
