Well, I think it would seriously take a 6 nil plus trouncing in both games with Roy developing a pair and both laughing about the state of the Mancs and having a dig at Fergie in interview, saying he thinks he will get us 4th and calling all journalists *******s, especially SKY ones...

Basically his position is untenable... He can't undo the damage he has done and he has made such a poor impression so far.

No it was supposedly one done with LFC.tv prior to them flying out

it sounds like he's totally lost the ****ing plot here

you cant be so candid with the media when youre the manager of one of the worlds biggest clubs. His answers seem so strange and open its untrue.

When someone says will united come in for torres you should say that fernando is already at one of the biggest clubs in the world, he has a long term contract and as far as i am concerned thats the end of it.

However, you can say whatever you like when you're managing the likes of fulham and blackburn because no one gives a ****.

Sorry but I think that press conference is bollocks
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

anyway = never seen anything like this regarding a liverpool manager....just been on john henry twitter - pages and pages of people telling him to sack hodgson.....no messages of support for Hodgson - not seen any valid arguement anywhere to defend him - this forum or any other forum, pubs, mates, etc - usually there is a split or at least a handful of people - put the only thing really that i can see that is keeping hodgson in the job is "he hasn't been here long and its the not the liverpool way to sack a manager in October" - even the people defending him before the derby have turned - his comments about our performance against eevrton and then selling torres to the mancs have really alienated him from the fans - even with 5 convincing wins in a row(we won't get two imo) I just dont see anyway back for him - Why aren't the media all over this!!!
It's unbelievable really that the media is not covering this, I think at least 95% of Liverpool fans want him sacked and the rage towards him increases with every passing day - I fear ugly scenes soon, a la Allardyce and Newcastle - I think it's come to the point where nothing he does can win us over and it would be for his own good to quit.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

The media are way to caught up with Wayne Rooney with make LFC their top story. I'm sure a few more horrific performances and bad results and the media circus will be in full swing

Not really unbelievable though is it? The media were, in the main, responsible for getting him the job so they're hardly gonna turn on their golden boy (grandpa) now are they.

Wouldnt surprise me in the least if there's a backlash (from the media) against NESV when they get round to sacking Roy.

Come on John Henry just sack him NOW!

If someone had said that Roy said to a repoter from Scandinavia that he hates Denmark and Norway and would never go back, you'd probably say that was bull**** too.

Nothing surprises me from this guy.

I'm loath to defend the media but to be honest there is little for them to report. There has started to be some coverage though. I heard someone on the BBC mention Hodger's bizarre assessment of the derby and the fact he is losing the fans. But the context was the departure of Purslow and that's why it was part of the story - Hodger's had lost an ally, perhaps his only one.

The simple fact is 'fans dislike manager' isn't all that much of a news story. If NESV had refused to back him then it would be all over the news but I think they're quite right to play a straight bat to that one, frustrating though it is for us.

Of course there's also the element - significant in my view - that a lot of the media want to take it easy on their old pal Hodger, especially since they all got it so wrong when he was appointed.
                      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

He is the media's choice of LFC manager. They wont turn against him. Look at the anti Rafa agenda from pretty much everyone in the media.

Also every other manager in the league loves him. Why wouldnt they. he does not do away wins and his tactics at home involve kicking the ball away from the edge of the D area. Allardyce must be licking his lips in anticipation of Sunday's game.

How do you view messages that people post on someone's twitter page? I've been on John Henry's page and all i see are his own tweets, and his replies to others - but not any messages people have posted for him.

In fact, how do you 'post' on someone else's twitter page? It's not like Facebook where you can 'write' on someone's wall. I dont get it
