    @paul_tomkins

    This season, Liverpool have yet to lead a game by more than one goal or score in the last 20 minutes. ("Beezdog", TTT)

    Also, spent almost three times as many minutes trailing in games as spent leading in them (89 to 244, "Beezdog" TTT).

    Just tweeted JWH on this. He likes stats after all.

      Just noticed we have no midweek game next week. I'm hoping that NESV see the week long gap between the Balckburn and Bolton games as the ideal time to sack Roy and bring in a replacement.

        It will happen on Monday if they decide to pull the plug. Not a great timing (it never is) but it would give a new manager almost a week to prepare for the new chapter in our lives.

            I think mockery is the answer so I suggest, if we are anything like as poor tomorrow as we have been for almost all this season, then a prolonged rendition of "you don't know what you're doing" is a must.

                Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

                  I have to question these new owners you sang the praises of if they can't see a change in manager is required. They may know their baseball but it seems they don't have a ****ing clue when it comes to football.

                  I wonder if they are aware about how much this season will effect next season. Championship of course equals disaster, but another season of no cl football isn't exactly great either.

                    it's completely naive to think this isn't getting sorted. dunno if you saw today, but there are two new board members. one thing at a time.

                        I'm clinging to that hope. The one niggling worry is they might think it would be too destabilising to change manager and executive levels in such a short space of time. Of course a bad season, whether or not it's a relegation battle, resulting in an exodus of some top players would be even more destabilising - I just hope they see it like that.

                            I can't really take much more of Roy, between his sheer ineptitude and the media's complete blind spot for any of his failings, it's starting to make me think I might be better off ignoring the whole sorry mess for a while.

                            Even if he turns it around and starts to get some half decent results (which is all he'll get at best), I can't face up to watching this sickeningly negative brand of football and the clodders and journeymen he'll sign to implement it, and the quality players we'll lose as a result. I've never felt so uninspired by a manager as I do by him, so imagine how the players outside Carra and Gerrard must feel.

                            I'm so desperate for him to go I can hardly put it into words, he's strangling the passion from me which I never felt possible.

                            Grim.

                              I was too harsh on NESV, maybe we won't see a change in manager until we get a new chief executive in. This needs to be sorted quickly.

                                Too add to above, they should get Kenny in on a temporary basis. Solves all problems and I think with the benefit of knowing all that has happened, Kenny was the right choice all along.
