Nah i know, i was just going from the point of view of the owners perhaps trying to save themselves £3m.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostEh? Who said anything about keeping him for the sake of £3m? I said if he walked ahead of the proposed date of termination of his contract then he wouldn't be entitled to anything and NESV would have rid of him without having to pay him off.

Of course we won't win the next 10 games..
but whilst those games are still there to win, then the chance is still there..

There are so many reasons why Roy needs to go. The way he uses the media and his demeanour is not Liverpool class and his preferred style of play and his negativity is not Liverpool class. we also need a manager to build a legacy and Granddad Roy is not that man.
He could win his next few games and I would still want him gone.

Please, don't mention putting Sammy in charge. I'm having enough nightmares as it is.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostWould it necessarily be at the expense of points though? lets remember who we're talking about!
But yeah, I'd imagine NESV would let Kenny or even Sammy take charge for a couple of matches rather than spend money they didn't need to.
I dont know, just making a suggestion as to why Roy might hang around in the knowledge that he'd be on his way.

There is no way he's getting the sack Monday. He's given himself a stay of execution. If we beat Bolton away (not exactly unlikely) we may as well forget about him getting the sack prior to this summer.
The only slim hope we had wassome rumour on the net that may very well have been complete bollocks. Other than the Internet rumours I've seen nothing to suggest he will get the sack.
The owners have already publicly backed him, and the way Roy is talking in the press seems to suggest they understand him to be in a difficult position.
It is ridiculous he is still in a job. The new owners aren't exactly covering themselves in glory here.Forwards.......

I'll say a prayer and stick a few hail Marys in for good measure.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostIf there was a plan to sack him regardless of the result (as suggested by lfc globe prior to the Napoli game) then he could still be sacked this week. But we'll have to wait and see.

I believe this. I always hope for what's right - this is right. Roy Hodgson has no future at Liverpool Football Club and the sooner we sack the clueless **** the better.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostWe have recieved reports that Roy Hodgson won't remain as Liverpool manager beyond this week.

I agree he needs to go but I think we were all too easy to believe this rumour, I'm not sure there is anything in it myself.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostI believe this. He doesn't look today like a man who has got wind he's about to be sacked.
Although he does often look like a man who has got wind.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
