7 seasons wrong..mistakes ?... unless they copied all the figures from an incorrect source it's pretty odd to get them all wrong...and why did'nt they get any wrong in a way that would give Rafa more points rather than less...if they were just random mistakes ?

Good work.Originally posted by Willo View PostRight - think I might have sussed it. The points totals are only for the first 6 games
The '8' is just a typo.
Conspiracy over (although I've only checked 2008 & 2009 seasons)
We were still on 6 points after 8 games this season though, but it would make Roy look even worse to put this measly total up against the real figures after 8 games.

I don't have any problems with what he says, its the results that bother me

I like Aldo always straight forward, my dad met him recently and was talking to him abut Liverpool, he's a straight shooter. I don't want to get into another Rafa argument and everything i seem to say regarding Rafa seems to get me a bad reaction from people on here that support Rafa but i'll just say this one thing and i hope this comes across as balanced, Roy has done a terrible job so far, Poulsen/Konch and Jones are not good signings and were prob never going to be good signings, that is very clear. Roy's tactics, team selection and urgency have been very questionable to say the least and being kind.
But seriously the squad left behind was not a good squad, it was filled it holes. Should Roy be doing better with it? Yes damn right but i don't see anything wrong with what Aldo said, in fact i completely agree with him. I like Aldo he is Liverpool FC through and through and one of the good guys IMO.Last edited by danperkins; 27-10-10, 12:22 AM.

I don't care what anyone else says, we need to make ourselves heard - whatever NESV might think I do not want this ****wit managing my team. He must be our least popular manager ever by miles, nobody except Roy Hodgson wants Roy Hodgson here. Get rid of the geriatric buffoon before he has the opportunity to destroy our chances of obtaining a respectable position in the league this season.

I've always had a soft spot for Aldo, but he's obviously talking bollocks & looking for a spot on Sky Sports with that interview. Rafa v Roy is getting a bit dull now but to say that the team Roy inherited, and this is the crucial point for me, the First XI, is only as good as a bottom 3 position is complete and utter tripe of the first order. The squad we all fans knew, & moaned about (even those who loved Rafa, as did I), was more threadbare than should have been, but 90% of the starting eleven were some of the world's best and underperformed to get 7th. That was Rafa's fault as the manager & the players fault for the way in which they performed.
But Aldo is either insane or a WUM to suggest the first XI that Roy inherited are rubbish & playing at their level of bottom 3. Roy need s shooting for the way he's set up the team & his tactics, plus his signings so far. And Thommo & Aldo need to be sat down by Kenny and read the riot act about the meaning of "support"! Rafa didn't run the club into the ground, the Yanks did that, he managed the team. Sort it out King.I'm in a glass cage of emotion!
