Hodgson is a tool and as Rafa says, every press confrence is worse than the last.

That said, I judge managers and players on the results and performances on the pitch. Sadly for Roy, they've not been much better.

Luckily for Roy the past two results have really dug himself out of a hole. The true test of course is Chelsea, but they look to be wobbling a bit to me. I think they are there for the taking. If Roy gets a win no way will he go and quite possibly a victory could really help with morale and allow us to kick on under Roy.

Personally, I find his football boring to watch and believe him to be to old to take us on. But with a win against the chavs maybe he can show he can grab 4th which this season is all that matters.

Even with the entire league being so poor this season I don't think we will be competing for top 4 spots.

We will be lucky if we get into Europa League and that could be easily be a stretch.

Personally myself i wish Roy and Rafa would shut up, sick off all the off the pitch nonsense, lets gets back to the football (if you could call it that at the moment), IMO NESV will be assessing Roy based on each game, i think he's is one bad loss away from the sack. As for Rafa coming back, not a hope in the world, it won't happen nor do i want it to happen that ship has sailed.

Was never a Roy fan, he annoys me something awful on the sideline picking his ear, rubbing his chin and scratching his head, i'm sure their just nervous ticks, but it looks ****ing awful when players look to the sideline for inspiration and guidance and they see that ****. Not gonna abuse Hodgson just as i didn't Rafa, i'll stick with criticism, each to their own, i just hope that LFC can be back on track on the pitch.

I've been delighted with last 3 results, i think we'll beat Napoli too on Thursday but the Chelsea game i am dreading. A good hiding could see the end of Roy, gutted that Cole will be out as it could have been a season changer for him. I think the best we could get out of the game would be a draw, personally i'd be delighted with that.

I like Roy and am happy to give him a chance unlike some of the knee jerking going on, but he did show a lack of urgency again and his team selection left a few question marks. Lucas/Jovo/Maxi should be nowhere near our first team, same goes for Skrtel. All liabilities that IMO should be considered part of the dead wood.

Lucas - lovers must be hiding in the shadows, this lad is ****ing woeful
Jovo - Headless chicken, zero productivity and gutless
Maxi - What exactly does he do ? Hasn't played well in years
Skrtel - Braindead,rash, useless in the air, playing him is asking for trouble.

I won't judge Roy until Cole/Gerrard & Torres all play together for a few games, i am disapointed that Roy keeps playing 2 DM's in Lucas & Poulsen, i thought Poulsen actually looks a decent buy, still slightly off the pace but comfortable and composed on the ball and seems to be able to pick a pass and unlike Lucas he looks for the positive ball and can link the play upfront, but Poulsen needs to be beside Gerrard/Merieles, Lucas/Poulsen partnership just nullfies our midfield.

The positive side for me is that Cole has hardly played and him in our starting 11 will make a massive difference, already Konchesky looks better than Insua, was bit nervy in first half but seemed to really come into in the second, Jovo didn't do him any favours either. Merieles looked busy, made some smart runs and looked to open the play up which was a breath of fresh air. Hopefully we can bed these 3 in, get Agger in for the shocker that is Martin Skrtel and get that link up between Torres/Cole/Gerrard and IMO we will look like a different team.

Got to say his U-turns on Hodgson, Konchesky and Poulsen have been epic even by internet forum standards. And his attempts at covering up his previously held opinions on the terrible trio have been cringeworthy.

Likewise, when he held the consistent view that Soto was a ****ebag, a decent signing and a **** player, though a decent buy, while at the same time being not a good signing, there was nothing contradictory about it....
