Makes of this what you will...
Hodgson today tried to calm the situation, saying: "I totally agree with him that every manager needs to work with his own club.
"If I have upset him by saying something which I certainly didn't mean to be in any way critical or negative about his work at the club, then I would happily apologise because there was never any intention to do that.
"As far as I am concerned I work at Liverpool and do my best for Liverpool, and he will work at Inter and do his best for Inter.
"I have no comments to make about other people's opinions – I'll allow them to make them and in this case I'll accept them if that's what they want to be."Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think that NESV are intending on sacking Roy but just want the structure in place for the future prior to this hence the Commoli appointment today I woulf reckon that next we will see the appointment of a new CEO and further board members and once that structure is in place, and a new suitable manager found Roy will then be sacked. I would expect all of these changes to be completed before the opening of the transfer window in January"All I'll ever do is all I've ever done in any job, and that's promise to fight for my life for the supporters and the people of the city"
