Why the hell does everyone on here do this? I thought at first it was one nutter but there's at least 4 or 5 doing it
I'm convinced I'll wake up sometime in the next fortnight to read that Hodgson has been let go by mutual consent. You've heard it here first, he's got two weeks left tops.
Dalglish was not part of the initial options he was part of the selection process - I am surmisining that Roy was Carraghers/Gerrards initial choice
He removed himself from the selection process to be considered for the position I dont know what their reaction was to that
I would be flabberghasted if Liverpool asked certain players and to be fair not th brightest ones at that about who the new manager should be.
Its just asking for trouble.
On this carragher business, I think it is clear that he probably reacted to a section of fans and that he is himself very frustrated by what is going on, with the form of the team and the with his own ageing body which is begin to struggle.
the guy is struggling with all these things and I think Liverpool need to sign a very strong manager which is not scared of reputations.
Carra has been a great servant to the club and i hate to see all this sniping at him now.
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield
Craig, you think everything is ''Bollocks'' unless it comes out of your mouth....
But in all seriousness there are so many rumours doing the rounds now, most tend to be more or less saying the same thing that being Roy's tenature might just be about to end, or very near to ending; ''No smoke without fire'', or so they say Graig, or am I talking Bollocks too
Oh and is this for real?
This was taken from an artical in one of the daily papers, regarding Hodgson.
He has never liked his travels - in his 105 away league games since 1980 with Bristol City, Blackburn, Fulham and Liverpool he has won only 13 timesand managed just 35 draws.
I knew his away recored was **** but that is unbelievable, what the fcuk is he doing at a club like ours.. Safe hands ....do me a favour.

Moores & Parry asked Gerrard and Carragher who they thought would be up to the job of replacing Houllier (when they got Benitez)
I think its in Gerrards book he mentions that he had put forth the name of Alan Curbishley
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
This was posted on another forum. If true I don't like it and could explain some of Carra's comments (sorry if already posted and I missed it)
Sat in block 40, row 11, seat 998 today in the corner by the tunnel
Throughout the game our fans were good, sang no matter what
However the one thing during the game was people mocking Poulsen : "Poulsen for England!" etc, yes it's a minority but still
Then the worst thing I saw was at the end when the manager and players were walking to the tunnel I saw about 20/30 fans pile onto the first row and pointing and doing that thing where you pull your thumb across your neck, like some sort of death threat at Hodgson and just throwing as much abuse as they could at the man for the brief period he was walking down, they also did this at Carra and he responded by shouting "what" or whatever at them
I know it's a minority but it really pissed me off
That is very distastefull if true, and I understand Carra going against that. Hope it's not true, nobody gains anything from that kind of stupidity.
There may not be one 'obvious' candidate mate. But there's sure as hell better ones than Coyle
And they'll reveal themselves during the daylight hours
But to be blunt, Rijkaard, the chap at Porto, Pellegrini if he's still available, to name just 3. Not to mention a certain Kenneth Dalglish on a temp basis, to be replaced further down the line by Senor Benitez, who i feel will be leaving Inter before very long.
Martin O Neil would be a worthy candidate for me, he has a good record as a manager and has worked and succeeded at all levels, although his Villa tenure wasn't that great he built a good squad playing good attacking football and only jacked it due to boadroom problems.
I did hear he may have taken a job in an Arab country but I'm sure he'd have an escape clause if a premiership club came knocking.
We need him or someone with a great track record now!!! not tomorrow N O W !!!!!
