You see my feeling is exactly the oppositeOriginally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostWith a home game against West Ham and the attention on the internationals, today would have been a good time to sack him. Doesn't give the new guy much time to prepare, but with it being the hammers we'd likely get away with it.

Surely, if they were open to the idea of Kenny as caretaker, they'd have done it by now?Originally posted by Craig_H View PostShort of saying 'they want the ideal candidate' which is obvious, how do you know they dont want a caretaker manager in the interim?
I've been banging the drum for Kenny as temporary manager, and i still havent seen or heard a valid reason why this wouldnt be better for us than keeping Bodgson.Forwards.......

I am not sure we would have anyone immediate lined up whenever we sack him unless we got one person in mind. most sackings have a couple of weeks before new man in.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostWith a home game against West Ham and the attention on the internationals, today would have been a good time to sack him. Agreed, but leave it longer and Roy wins against West Ham, and he gets a stay of execution until he ****s up again.Originally posted by Lecter View PostYou see my feeling is exactly the opposite

I reckon me and my mates could beat West Ham, so whilst there would be a lack of preperation, we would probably still sneak through. And with midweek games coming thick and fast, there probably isn't going to be an ideal time.Forwards.......

Because they would have sacked Hodgson straight away. I don't think NESV didn't do their homework on us or the Premier League or football in general well ahead of them buying us. They probably had a very clear idea of what was needed to achieve success. I don't think they'd take the risk of investing £300m without knowing exactly what to do.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostShort of saying 'they want the ideal candidate' which is obvious, how do you know they dont want a caretaker manager in the interim?
Besides, I don't think Kenny as caretaker would solve our problems. He would probably give us a massive lift in terms of confidence, but he isn't the answer long term and doesn't fit in the criteria that NESV want. Are we winning?

I hope you are kiddingOriginally posted by Pablo1981 View PostMate they might be new to the sport, but so's Fernandinho, and even he can see Roy should go. That says all you need to know for me
I might be new to LFC but I have lived and breathed football since I was born.

I'd rather the new man came straight in tbh. But if it's a choice of Roy for two more weeks or Albert Steptoe as caretaker I'd take the latter everytime.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostI wasnt suggesting that they are open to the idea. It seems they're probably not. And that is the problem.Forwards.......

People again seem to look at NESV as though they came into this all knowingOriginally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostSurely, if they were open to the idea of Kenny as caretaker, they'd have done it by now?
They knew sod all about the game
Lets face it results have been up and down over the period of their tenure
**** result against Everton followed by 4 or 5 wins then now back to ****e results in the last 2 matches
They've appointed Comolli and this has emasculated Hodgson
We've seen Hodgson publicly apologise to Rafa no doubt at the behest of NESV (this was probably strike 2)
I think hes walking on a tightrope and they are probably hoping he falls of his own accord before they are forced to push him but I think we are fast approaching the time when they will hold their hands up and say enough is enoughBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'm not worried about Roy in the slightest
