It will be ironic if he's ****ed off after Saturday seen as we're playing his old team.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

It would increase his unpopularity with the fans, but I think he'd keep his job. A defeat and I think we'd see more of the press get then knifes out. Fulhams away record is even worse than ours, last time they won away from home was the first game of last season.Originally posted by Daniel Torres View Post'Mon the Fulham. Hasten the departure. A 0-0 with them thoroughly battering us...would that be enough?
Something has to give. I can't see Fulham letting this game be a walkover like most of their other away games. I think Hughes will have them up for this one.Forwards.......

In fairness though that is mostly Hodgson's fault, this season they haven't won away but they have drawn 5 of their 8 away games which means they're already half way to matching last seasons total of 10 points away from home. And despite not winning an away game they have the same number of away points as we do, and with a much better away goal difference (-3 compared to our -10)Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostIt would increase his unpopularity with the fans, but I think he'd keep his job. They are half way to matching the points, but they are also after Satuday half way through the season. So they are on course.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostIn fairness though that is mostly Hodgson's fault, this season they haven't won away but they have drawn 5 of their 8 away games which means they're already half way to matching last seasons total of 10 points away from home. Now we could say the Away form is down to Roys imprint on the team, but then a fan of Roy could argue Rafa left his inprint on LFC and that is why we are struggling away from home.
Horses for courses really.
Still, all we do know is that the last club managed by Roy had a **** away record, and the current club managed by Roy has a **** away record.Forwards.......

Some of his statements are truly mind blowing.. It almost seems he is taking a piss.
"If I was a betting man, I would guarantee they are going to finish in the top four".
"The club is in a bit of a predicament, but you couldn’t ask for a more humble gentleman to deal with that".
“I hear positive sounds coming out of the club about him. The people up there don’t suffer fools".
or
“I don’t think the fans expect them to win the Premier League this season – they are more realistic than that".Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

DANNY MURPHY claims he was partly responsible for getting Roy Hodgson the Liverpool job.
And he is absolutely convinced the former Fulham boss will get the Reds back into the Champions League by the end of the season.
Murphy admits he was sounded out by his old club before they approached Hodgson last summer – and gave him a glowing reference.
WIN A LUXURY CRUISE TRIP FOR TWO WORTH £2,500!
Hodgson has endured a nightmare start to his Anfield career and Reds owner John Henry this week branded the club’s form “unacceptable”.
But Murphy, 33, whose Fulham side go to Liverpool tomorrow, said: “If I was a betting man, I would guarantee they are going to finish in the top four.
“The club is in a bit of a predicament, but you couldn’t ask for a more humble gentleman to deal with that.
“The dilemma for me came when I was getting calls from people at Liverpool asking me about Roy.
“I knew I could say nothing and they would still probably employ him.
“But I was praising him because that’s what he deserves, being honest and knowing that it would probably help them decide he was the right man.
“I didn’t want to see him go, but football success generally means that people move on.
“The great thing for him was that he got to manage one of the great teams in Europe and Liverpool got one of the best coaches around.
“I hear positive sounds coming out of the club about him. The people up there don’t suffer fools.
“You will get a more successful Liverpool there this season, but the fans are realistic at the moment about what’s achievable.
“Roy wants to be a success and success for Liverpool is competing with Manchester United and Chelsea.
“He might need a bit longer than one season to do that, but he will bring them closer.
“I don’t think the fans expect them to win the Premier League this season – they are more realistic than that.
“I think some stability, getting back into the Champions League and getting extra money in is what’s needed.
“Roy will do that. He’s a winner.”
Murphy tips Hodgson to turn it roundWe going to win #19th!!

The press make you and break you. Shame people have such short memories and choose to forget past failings. I blame the rags and the millions of sheep that can not make a valid, informed opinion for themselves. Benitez delt in 'facts' and the press could not put there spin on it so they focused on zonal marking and a like. His press conferences were all the same about 'focusing on the next game and getting 3 points'. Roy gives them plenty but they have ignored it until now. Bye Roy, it's been painful at best listening to your drivel.Go **** yourself
