You never know, football is football. It could be in five years' time, ten years' time, two years' time. We have two years of a contract here, we are really pleased here, the people are very nice, the fans are very similar to Liverpool fans, with passion, so everything is going well."

Yeah, Walsh is working hard to redeem all our former players here. Well done son.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Bad news? This process could take weeks and then there is the likelihood that the man we want will not be available until the summer. No temp wanted so that means seeing out the season with Roy.
I think NESV have been there for a while and they wanted to do things quietly but it has now got to a point where they had to let the fans know something was happening. They may even have somebody ready and waiting andare hoping this will encourage roy to walk.

As others have pointed out NESV have been very measured in all this. This bodes well for the future should we get another dose of "one bad season syndrome" with any future manager they're unlikely to do anything silly in haste.

That doesn't make sense though why would they ask sdomeone who was sacked 6 month ago about the players the club needs unless they are giving him his job back?? If they don't think he is good enough to do tne job again why would they ask his advice??

Its not unheard of. He has intimate detail about the playing staff, their motivation and how best to motivate them. He also put together the Academy and the recently disbanded scouting system.

                Ha, bet Carra's worrying!

****, even Tony Blair invited in Thatcher for a bit of advice when he took over at No. 10!

I dont know but the rumour is he met / spoke with both FSG & Comolli in the last week or so but I was emphatically told it was not in relation to offerring or discussing any position at the club

Just before Macia got the sack, wonder if there is a connection.

Be interesting to know what the discussion was about. Young players perhaps?

You can't expect people to help you too much. The staff are very good and supportive – and so too are the players – but your family is the most important during these times. From his own mouth. He's admitting he didn't expect to beat Newcastle. This is not talk befitting a Liverpool manager
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I got this straight from those good folk at http://www.lfchistory.net

This is just league games, and my calculation of points won per points available (assuming 3 for a win). Not sure I need to comment further than that, but some-one has obviously enjoyed a 'good' UEFA cup run!
