But he also got to a Europa Cup final, unlike Hughes. And when he didn't have to contend with playing Sunday/Thursday every week he got them to 7th, a season after he had done the impossible and kept them up by winning 4 of their last 5 games.

Hodgson has been ****e at Liverpool and I wanted him sacked as soon as NESV came in. But that doesn't make his achievements at Fulham anything less than exceptional.
