Thanjk you.

I dont like MON's style of play, but i do think he's a motivator. And in fairness, he did well to get Villa to 6th, albeit with a lot of financial backing.
Nicked off RAWK
I fear Kenny knew Roy would be a spectacular failure from the start. Back in the summer Paul Dalglish told the echo that KD only wanted the job when he saw the quality of the other applicants. Paul said that if Mourinho was in the frame then KD wouldn't even have thought about it. Easy to say now but I remember reading that and thinking oh ****. The bottom line is we just had/have people making the important decisions who really shouldn't be.
I'd love someone to come in who wouldn't cosy up to the press or other managers, says whatever the f*ck he thinks and instils an "us against them" mentality. I think the man some people referred to as the fat penguin is the answer. *sigh*
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
The LMA has, for some reason, chosen tonight to issue an "open letter to the media", pleading to owners to think twice before sacking managers, to set proper and reasonable objectives and measure management performance over a period of time, while offering full support and backing to allow the manager to perform, blah blah blah.

Dont want him, but would almost take him.
No thanks.
If we signed him he'd be with us for something like 12 months (minimum) whereas Roy has to be on his last legs now. If MON was any good he'd have had a job by now also.

Just listened to Gerry Francis suggesting the owners give Roy more time. Whereas Abromovich should come out and clarify the issues at Stamford Bridge - double standards or what from the wannabe Billy Ray Cyrus
It confirms one thing - we have the biggest battle of the lot ahead and that is the media. There has to be some way of showing the lot of them up for what they are. Its really funny at work. You have reds who have followed the club for 30-40 years and even they have become SLY washed. Rattling on about Roy's achievements in football you ask them "what as he achieved?" - the then start to wikipedia Roy Hodgson it before blushing.
Amazing how many people just accept what they hear

Yes but the thing that caused a stir is that he labelled Liverpool 'not a great club anymore' - Sanchez that is.

The LMA can kiss my bollocks.
Also, i keep hearing idiot fans of other clubs telling me we should give him time. Funnily enough, none of them want him as their manager though.
Al Fayed blasts Hodgson calling him a "a bugger"

Mohamed Al Fayed last night launched a blistering attack on Roy Hodgson for walking out on Fulham to join Liverpool.
The Fulham owner - who unveiled ex-Manchester City boss Mark Hughes as the Cottagers' new man - branded Hodgson "a bugger" and "a disappointment".
Straight-talking Al Fayed said: "We gave him all the support, we believed in him and he let us down. It's no problem because Mark is much better. He's better looking too.
"Roy disappointed the fans, he disappointed the players, he was just a bugger.
"I did everything for him, to help him. But that's his character. He can't help it. I forgive him, anyhow and I'm sure he's going to take Liverpool downhill."
The comments are bound to provoke an angry response from Hodgson who took Fulham from the jaws of relegation two years ago to the brink of European silverware last season.
Hodgson quit Craven Cottage to succeed Rafa Benitez at Liverpool on July 1 at the end of a season in which he masterminded Fulham wins over Juventus and German champions Wolfsburg on the way to the Europa League Final.
Al Fayed received £2million in compensation from the Reds for Hodgson, who was on a 12-month rolling contract.
He added: "This guy, after we put him where he is now, he took advantage. But I'm sure he (Hughes) is going to get us to the championship."
The 77-year-old Egyptian now intends to bankroll Hughes' bid to establish Fulham inside the Premier League's top ten.
He added: "Mark's a nice guy. He's got a great sense. The players, I'm sure, will like him. It's a different atmosphere here. I'm always here, I go to the training ground.
"I'll be dealing with him day-to-day, for sure. I've been a fan for 40 years and I love the club."

think many thought the same when Kenny all of a sudden was interested. he was a mate of Roy's as well wasn't he? well probably more an aquaintance!!
although you would have thought with his hindsight being spot on they would listen to him for the next post = no MON.
