That said I'd still sack Roy today / tomorrow

I'd put Thommo in charge for Old Toilet and then when Kenny returns put him in as craetaker till the summer (assuming hes willing to take it on this basis)
to this even though I am still wary of the King stepping in, not because he couldn't do it but just in case the players continue not to play for managers.

Blackpool is on a wednesday, but it's away. First home game would be everton, on the sunday.

I'm afraid quite a number of pages are going to be added to this still before he is gone.

It's been more than 3 months. They should have had sounded out a number of candidates and somewhat agreed over establishing their structure quite quickly as soon as the takeover was given the go ahead. You don't pluck out £300m out of thin air and come into an industry they know **** all about unprepared. While I won't stick the boot into them right now, seeing Werner peddle some glaring inaccuracies 4 weeks ago during the live phone in doesn't fill me with confidence. There's cause for concern of this there's no doubt.

Severance has been agreed, and Roy will continue to manage the team until Kenny Dalglish's commitments in Dubai are concluded.

In the best interests that Hodgson is in charge until at least Sunday evening. Need maximum preparation ahead of crucial match.

Look, I am revealing this to you because the same source told me that Torres was having surgery weeks before it was confirmed.

In the same conversation, he told me that Torres' future was not dependent on Benitez, and that Rafa wouldn't walk out on the club.

I'm in a similar position to everybody else, really. I want to share it with you all. I'm cautiously optimistic this is spot on.

So, Hodgson will be in charge against Man utd just like I thought.

Our owners are acting like complete ******s in my opinion and I mean that. There is no-way Roy should be leading out the team this Sunday but their indeciveness means he will be. It just goes to show like one or two said that they were totally unprepared for taking over Liverpool. To still have no CEO or proper football men to help make decisions a few months in is absolutely ridiculous. Even our directors are pissed off with the lack of movement.

Our owners will really look like cunts if we raise our game to beat the scum and then sack him after. In fact it will be laughable. They obviously don't have a plan B like many thought they had because the carthorse is still here.... Not impressed one bit.

So if Roy is still in charge we'll still be on 25 points after the game then

I guess when you're relying on a CEO in transit and the British media, maybe even the LMA for your info on your incumbant manager, then I guess last week was a turning point.
