There is nothing new in all that really, basically it is all pieced together from the fact nothing has happened and that he thinks Roy will hold his press conference tomorrow. Supposition and hearsay.

Plus the journos have to write something and basically nothing has happened in the last 24 hours. So armed with no new news, they just make **** up.

We've lost our way, we lost it back in the 90's with the spice boys who cared more about glamming up to the media than the club, and refinding it we need to go back to players who love the club and want to play for it, who hurt when the club hurts.

I'd rather see us finish 7th looking like we want to win every match than finish 5th looking like we don't give a **** anymore.

And we should be careful who we wish for and who we slag off when linked with them because some of the big names that we crave may just be the 'i've made it and I don't really care any more' type of players and the ones we don't really want may just really want to play for the shirt and play as a team (or they could just be another PFK).

For all our dislike of Manure and when we look at the names in their squad and think, 'jeez, they're really not that good', what they are, without doubt, is a team (and that really hurts me to say, well type it).

They're not normally asked I guess. But it would kill a lot of speculation if they came out and said he'd be there.

In fact, as NESV have not backed him it's safe to assume he's dead in the water. One line or call to the press would kill all the speculation........

Why get him in when we could just get someone else in though? Someone like Dalglish or Thommo?

Because they been out of the game to long. The game has changed a lot. We don't have a clue if they could handle all the big egos in the squad.

I would pick Segura before Dalglish or Thompson any day of the week. Our squads is built to suit the style Segura use in the youth teams. The Rafa style.

Then you also need to look at what type of manager we want in the summer. If it is a similar one to Rafa or a more British one.

The caretaker manager will make the players play his system. That means that if we get in Dalglish for example and then sign up manager that play a different system and different style than Dalglish then we first would need to change our style to suit Dalglish and then change it again before next season to suit the new manager.

If we let Segura take the job a few months then we probably not need to make more or less any changes at all to our system before next season. That means that it get easier for a new manager because we would already play his style of football and system.

One change instead of two.
