What does the club need to get back to the top?

The obvious answer is of course money, better players and a new manager but is that enough?

Do we need more than that. A new CEO? Get rid off players with to much power off the pitch? Do we need some kind of football director to help the board out?

Is money, a few new players and a new manager enough?

I don't think so myself. I think that we need a new top class CEO, get rid off players with to much power off the pitch but not some kind of football director. The new CEO if he is good enough should be able to do that job.

NESV need to start all over again from scratch and look at the whole club what gone wrong and not only look at the big obvious things like money, players and the manager.

The players with too much power can be curbed in two ways

Firstly by bringing in a new CEO and pushing Purslow sidewas (maybe into his MD role)

Secondly getting a manager who is strong enough to deal with them
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

New manager, a quality striker, a quality winger, creative central midfielder, a top-class centre back & a decent leftback.

Break the team up, not the whole team, just the small bunch who think they are bigger than the club.

Other than the first paragraph, it probably needs a new stadium to stay and compete at the top.

Define what you mean by 'The Top'??

If you mean winning the PL then about 5 years of patience, structured growth, investment in youth and adding 2 quality signings a season.
