So we scored three goals or more in seven of our last eight games but that is **** football according to LDP.......

We also top scored in the league that season (77) and only lost twice, we let a MASSIVE chance to win the league go. I enjoyed our football immensely for the first time in years that season, I am sure if Arshavin hadn't scored 4 against us we'd have won it (the league). Hard to believe it was only just over a season ago.

236 ****ing shots in just 12 games. I wonder how many goals we would have scored if Torres and Gerrard had played more games.

We lacked the finishing touch in so many games that we dominated that season thanks to that Torres and Gerrard missed so many games.

You only have to look at Inter, to see that Rafa isnt a defensive coach. He likes his team to be solid but he isnt a defensive manager at all. We played some delightful stuff under him, as are Inter now.

The difference is, at Inter he has brilliant players, while at LFC he wasnt backed enough to have those kind of players to his satisfaction.

His time at Inter is already proving that, if he's backed and allowed to bring in the right players, he'll be a massive success. It's gutting that he never got the chance to work for NESV.

I agree in the main but i don't believe Inter have spent much recently? Rafa's inherited an ageing squad, albeit a very good one, but he's certainly not been backed yet.

I think the days of Inter splurging in the transfer market are over but it's probably safe to say that Rafa will be backed more heavily than he was during his last 2/3 seasons here.

Anyway i doubt Rafa will be at Inter for more than a season or two
