No, I don't have anything either, and I was really, really trying to give him a chance after Blackburn thinking he would alter his tactics but I just can't stop detesting him.

Just shut the **** up Roy, it's not hard - it takes less effort than actually speaking...

Why's he come out and apologised then, if he didnt make the comments? :lightbulb:
I was referring to the article about Johnson being "outraged " and "slamming Hodgson's boring tactics" as you well know. And you can shove your lightbulb up your ludicrously retentive ringpiece.

Sorry but I slightly sympathise with Hodgson on this one. Johnson has been terrible this season....some shocking decision making, touch of a pub player and that stupid ****in hair. Putting **** tactics aside, I don't think the manager tells him to miscontrol the ball and play stray passes. Something's not right with him.

I don't think anyone really believes Johnson has been good enough but that's not really the point - the question is whether or not a manager should criticise his players in public.

I think it's never acceptable for him to do that. He rightly supported Poulsen (although even that came across badly I thought) yet was far more critical of Johnson. It's not on.

Even if he wants to get rid of him then talking him down isn't exactly the way to get the best possible price.
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I only slightly sympathise Neil. I think Roy is brutally honest, way too much for his own good, but I think it would be an interesting trait for a manager if he was capable of getting the results on the pitch...

Johnson is an attacking full-back, and a very good one at that. When used in the right way, he can be sensational, the most skillful player in the team, but Roys **** house, prehistoric tactics doesn't allow this. Not Johnsons fault.

valid point but only the greats like Fergie/Mourinho etc can do this and het away with it, unfortunately for Roy he ain't all that great, he could say what he wanted if we were winning and playing well. But at the moment he's just saying one silly thing after another and compiled with ****e performances and bad results, well that only leads to one thing, and thats the door.

As for Johnson although i don't agree with publicly scolding him, he has been dreadful for Roy and for Rafa. He is not a RB IMO and would be much better served played in a less defensive role.

he is only brutally honest when he wants to be.....blames others a lot to.
If he was being brutally honest his next press conference would go something like this?

Reporter: So Roy you looking forward to playing West ham
RH: Not really i am a **** manager with Alehouse tactics

Defensively maybe, in general not as a player. But Kelly is still very raw and has a lot to learn, great prospect though. But i wouldn't mind seeing the two play on the same side with Johnson ahead of him.
