No, but there's no point using Monday's game as evidence to support that contention. It just makes the case less convincing.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I think the idea is, that when he was in the positions that a right winger/midfielder would normally have been in he looked good. I.e the two times he dribbled around a few defenders and nearly scored. I think people would like too see him in those positions more regularly (i.e as a winger) then again, the ability to dribble around them stems from kuyts ability to move off the ball in a manner which draws defenders towards him, or at least makes them think twice before challenging Johnson.

Do you think a pairing of Johnson and Kelly would get more goals/assists that Kuyt and Johnson?

First sensible thing he said in a long time.

          Roy rejects Johnson rumours

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson has denied rumours he is trying to sell Glen Johnson in the transfer window.

It has been suggested Liverpool would be willing to listen to offers for Johnson with the England international believed to be unsettled on Merseyside.

The likes of Tottenham, Juventus and Bayern Munich have all been linked with the former Portsmouth man, but Hodgson insists the full-back is going nowhere.

"Agents and newspapers. You don't have to look very far these days," said Hodgson of the speculation.

"As far as I am concerned Glen Johnson will be a Liverpool player certainly until the end of his contract and possibly beyond it.

"We are very happy with him, he is a top-class player, an England international, so why should we want to lose him? Maybe his agent has other ideas."
