You're right though it is somehow a bit comical. And in my teens I legged it several times. Got caught once though, got battered.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Was that by someone on the forum that you used to post on when you were 17?

Good on ya Craig, I bet you put a jumper over your jersey when you see an away supporter at Anfield

It's not 'scouse chat', it's just a colloquialism used all over. If you'd set foot outside of your road, you'd know that

I dont wear a jersey mate, the most i usually stretch to for colours or merchandise, might be a scarf.

This football violence stuff is pretty wierd to me having grown up in Oz where there's no crowd segregation at all at Aussie rules matches. I understand that there's more tension and passion involved in watching football, but its not just that that leads to the violence. To me its like a childish jealous tribalism where people can't shrugg off a bad result or just ignore the taunts of others (or avoid making them themselves). I guess regional identity comes into it too, but the Aussie view of European football violence is of losers with nothing better to do with their saturday afternoon than get in a fight after/before a footy match.

If I've offended anyone, we can step outside and sort it out like real men.

I'm over for the Villa match man - confirmed!!

Flights are at a great time too, no getting up at stupid o'clock on a cold Dec morning, they're early afternoon, plenty of time for a few pints before the match anyway

To be honest, forget general tension/passion etc, the problem more often than not, is a certain sections of italian football 'supporters' who are ****ing ****s.

Why don't you wear a Jersey? I'm going to be at White Heart Lane decked in every bit of LFC merchandise I own, to the point where I am wearing my LFC clock as a necklace

Also, do the ultras not wear merchandise because the club gets into trouble?

Not sure why ultras dont wear colours, i dont think it's to protect the club I just dont think they see it as being something they'd wish to identify with.

I dont wear football shirts because i just think they're a bit naff and chavvy Sorry.

It wasn't just a problem in Italy 20 years ago.
