Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I'm afraid that if Chelsea puts any kind of pressure on us in our half then we are going to get a whooping on us, we simply haven't played a game in which we have managed to play ourselves out of a high pressure. The only games we have gotten anything out of is when they withdraw a bit, so our defenders lacking any kind of passing ability (not counting hoofing of course) can get time. I don't see chelsea doing this, and they themselves have a very hard defense to break down, so basically I'm not getting my hopes up.
We might manage to get a result today, and have a strange feeling we just might, but the rational part of me tells me we will come out with nothing from this game.

I can't see us getting a point. As you point out. We still haven't managed to win a game when the opposition pressured our back four. Ancelotti know how to win this game and what they need to do to do it.Originally posted by Darkon View PostI'm afraid that if Chelsea puts any kind of pressure on us in our half then we are going to get a whooping on us, we simply haven't played a game in which we have managed to play ourselves out of a high pressure. That is pretty defensive, maybe not a bad idea, wonder if this is the right match to try out Johnson in midfield..Originally posted by souliv View PostThis was posted on RAWK

I think we'll get swept aside...the Chavs will expose all our frailties quite easily imo.Originally posted by Arn View PostI can't see us getting a point. As you point out. And if they don't..i'll begin to get very worried about scum winning no19.

Scum have been very poor this year. Regardless of today's result it's Chelseas title IMO.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostI think we'll get swept aside...the Chavs will expose all our frailties quite easily imo.

I agree, i was certain, but that goal yesterday... and then a lucky result for us today...would make me worry just a tad...knowning the scum and how utterly utterly lucky they can be at times.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostScum have been very poor this year. If we play another **** first half today we will lose. What is it with us and first halves under Roy? This is our chance to get back into it (fighting for top four that is) and if they don't give it all something is really wrong with our club. If we show some fight, desire and will to win we have a chance today. Hope the players give the crowd a reason to be as loud as ever before, could be a special match at Anfield once again. No more excuses, no more blaming the owners, there's a positive vibe spreading in our club again, go out there, take advantage, fight and most importantly:
WIN!!!
I should be the manager

Scum are penniless. They have (mostly Ronaldo) money in the bank, but apparently that money has to STAY in the bank for PIK rules.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostI agree, i was certain, but that goal yesterday... and then a lucky result for us today...would make me worry just a tad...knowning the scum and how utterly utterly lucky they can be at times.
If they don't buy in January they'll be royally fooked, specially if Rooney decides not to pick up form or lose his injuries. They can't keep relying on Park
and the Demento-added-time for 30 odd more games.
Today is win-win-win. If we win, we should be hunting scum down! If we lose, Chelsea are 5 points ahead. If we draw, meh, still good for both us and Chelsea I guess. Win-win-win.One tit for another.
