The only times he talk about us is when he is forced to do it because Hodgson told the media a lied up story. You simply can't let him get away with that and when Hodgson attacked him earlier.

He simply isn't talking about us if he isn't forced to defend himself from all the lies.

It's much classier if our current manager would have kept quiet in the first place and don't lied about Dalglish or of crap the squad is.

If Rafa would have talked about us without being forced to defend himself then it would be a different situation.

      Is it just me?

Is he your uncle or something? Honest question

What's with the petulent little replies?! It reads like you're actually crying as you type! All red faced and angry

"No! You shut it Rushie! Stop it! Stop saying bad things about Rafa!! Stop it stop it stop it stop it stop it!!!"

Ian Rush has never been the sharpest tool in the box, and as a result might not say the right thing or get his facts wrong; but **** me has he earned the right to
He hasn't earned the right to lie about the situation FFS

I know , and all I did was to use your own "suttle" or "clever" way of pointing out what other people do instead of saying it directly. You contribute with that in almost any thread, so we all some things we could take from this...

As I said in this thread, if he talks **** he talks ****. In this case, I don't know what his thoughts adds to the grand scheme of things, if not to brew negative sentiments towards our former manager.

Becasue some people dislikes Rafa so much he is not allowed to respond to false accusation.

I hope that none of them are judge.

Rush is legend, so is Rafa, pls show respect.

Yes, I was aware of the possible irony but thanks for drawing my attention to it. I guess that's the trouble - if someone is being negative and repetitive then pointing it out every time tends to be negative and repetitive. So if you stop, then I won't have anything to say.

              Self-awareness - it's a real b*tch.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Mind you, he is a legend and was a goal machine, but he's one of the thickest blokes I've ever come across.
                eh?

I've met Rushie, and I can assure you that being thick was not how I would describe him. He actually came across well and as articulate.

It's not about earning the right, it's about the fact he's a legend and loves the club and speaks from the heart. So maybe he is wrong but it's just how he sees it and he doesn't seem bitter to me unlike a few others, no names (Mark Lawrenson, Phil Neal).

ian rush, lawro, dlaglish, hansen, barnes, etc...... i dont give a **** what any of them say. they are IMO all legends and have earned the right to say whatever they want about whoever they want - i just dont listen to them as it normally just to get themselves in the papers.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Yeah well I've met him too and while he was funny he's also thick and inarticulate. Perhaps you've just got lower standards than I have.

                          Bull****.

Legends don't have the right to lie just because they are legends. Maybe Rafa then would come out and say that Rush is a Scum or something like that and just because he is a legend he is allowed to do it.

                          As I said. BULL****.

I think we need a Legend-o-meter to see who has more of a right to say what over who.

You earn respect but it easily can be undone, it's not irreversible.

IMO rush is a legend and im not gonna call him all the names under the sun for having his own opinion.
