    Wigan

    They're not very good.

We're in good form and should continue our winning run

Really? With Roy's tactics? I don't think so.

We need more than a single Maxi toe-poke to turn our away form around.

Having said that, if our players aren't confident now then they never will be.

Press high, get at Wigan, and serve up a couple of Torres chances and it should be in the bag.

Last year they completely outplayed us and this time I'm hoping it will be the other way around.

N'zobia was handful last time we played (burned Insua left and right) and I'm concerned that Konk will not be a match for him.

If we dont take points here it makes winning the chelsea game pointless. Come on red men

Its another must win game, with the two mancs playing each other, it is a perfect oppurtunity to gain some points on either. If we go out an attack them i reckon we'll win. I'd like to see Kuyt kept up top with Torres, and i hope Glen Johnson doesn't come back at RB. We've been flying without him.

I don't think Glen not playing has made a big difference. I think it's just a case of the whole team playing better. If he came in for Kelly I wouldn't be concerned.

I dunno mate Johnson has been appaling so far at LFC, if he was to play RM i'd be delighted but at RB i do not trust him. Especially if Nzogbia is attacking him.

Glen is a good defender, you just have to ask what you want from him. When he sits back he is solid but then people ask why he's not bombing on. When he goes forward though he of course leaves gaps behind him which becomes a problem if the opposition intercept a ball and break on us.

I personally think Glens a top player, he just has to learn Roys system.

IMO Glen is a good player, just not a good defender. Terrible positional sense and switches off to easily.

Mentioned it before, was watching Hansen & Dixon pick apart Johnson's defending awhile back, they even said simple things as his body positioning we're all wrong, shocking was the words Hansen used. They highlighted his bad positioning on several occasions and his lack of defensive awareness, have to say they picked him apart something awful.

Anyways i really hope he suceeds and can improve his game if he comes back into the side, which he will.

Hansen and Dixon know their stuff but people have picked apart Torres too of late. When a team is down it's easy to over annalyse and shred a particular player.

Makes a nice change from the simpleton "he's not playing well so he must be ****" approach.

No no, if pundits say it, it must be right.
