Spurs dropping more points tonight. They're gonna have to win the bloody CL if they want back in next season (I'm sure that's been done before ). This game is a must win if we want to have a crack at 4th.

Incredible to think we'll be above Spurs if we win, could even go as high as 5th. Not bad to say we had a dreadfull start. Win the next 3 and I think we can consolidate 5th place and put ourselves in a good position to challenge for 4th.

It will be so frustrating now if we can't beat Wigan. A draw at Stoke will be a bad result, but you could kind of understand that. But there will be no excuses for not getting maximum points of both Wigan and West Ham.

If we want a chance of 4th we should be looking at 9 points, but 7 wouldn't be too depressing.

Yep, i defo think it's easier to win at Wigan than at Stoke although Football is a funny old game as they say.

On the evidence of tonight, that Stoke defence can certainly be got at. Torres could have a field day.

Stoke can be got at. But they also play very wide using Etherington and Pennant to full effect. Our narrow system sees us struggle against teams that use maximum width. Add in the long ball option to Jones and the pacy and skillfull Fuller and I think they'll cause us a handfull.

Shawcross I would guess will be back Saturday as well and him and Huth form a very tall, pysichal defence so hopefully we'll keep long balls to a minimum.
