If Shaggy has not masterfully edited this section too, this is a prime example why Roy should never been appointed "Cover yourself first" attitude cannot be inspiring and motiving and he really needs to go.

Can't quite see what you're complaining about there? The fact that he was non-commital in his answers?

No, my issue is that he always uses the escape clauses in his answers. I wish he could be bold in his statements ("We are going to win against ...", " There is no team that we fear", "I have confidence in my players that they can deliver great results" etc.) and not constantly be thinking that he may say something God forbid courageous and audacious.

i think its pretty good to see the yoof get a chance. shelvey, ecclestone, spearing . . . .the young ones are the ones who should be getting game time to see if they are cut out for top level football or not and IMO as our back up / bench players we normally have not really proven they deserve a chance, i quite like to see a bench like that.

oppo managers see babel on the bench they will know what to expect if he comes on ( direct pace and long shots ) if they see ngog ( target man / hold up play ) if they see poulsen ( ****e passing, no positioning and possibly a penalty or two ) but with the unknown they dont know ( if you get my drift )

Both of these are msyterious then. Both would be certs for the bench at least. Surely. Even for Roy. What's going on?

Im pretty sure Kelly will keep his place. Now that he has shown he can defend I think Roy will prefer Kelly as he is his type of player. Solid defender who is big, strong and difficult to get past with pace to add. Doesn't mind getting forward on the odd occasion but focuses on making sure the opposing left mid doesn't get in behind him and ensuring that when he receives the ball he gets it clear when necessary.
