Christian Poulsen's agent has denied rumours linking the player with an early exit from Liverpool after his struggle to settle in at Anfield.
The Denmark international has yet to hit top form at Anfield since his summer switch from Juventus and has come under fire from a section of the club's fans.
Poulsen was withdrawn to ironic jeers against Napoli in the Europa League at Anfield last week while his late introduction for Dirk Kuyt during Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Wigan was booed by some Liverpool fans.
Reports have suggested Poulsen could be sold in the January transfer window with former club Sevilla thought to be monitoring his situation.
However, Poulsen's representative, Jorn Bonnesen, insists the player is going nowhere and is prepared to fight for his place at Liverpool.
"I do not comment on speculation," Bonnesen told Bold.dk about rumours linking Poulsen with Sevilla.
"Christian is happy to be in Liverpool.
"He is not one that sticks his tail between his legs and runs away, running is not really something Christian does, he tends to jog away at a slow pace.
"He is a type that will fight for his place and prove his worth."

He's only represented us this season though, surely? I think the rule is 2 clubs per season max, in which case he should be ok. At least I ****ing well hope soOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostWill we have to apply for special dispensation to get rid of him? - Wasn't there that rule about not being allowed to play for 3 different clubs in a year? Or has that been scrapped now?

I am also sure any decent lawyer could prove he hasn't actually technically played for us either.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostHe's only represented us this season though, surely? I think the rule is 2 clubs per season max, in which case he should be ok. At least I ****ing well hope so
