Some pretty poor perormance in midfield so far. We've been lucky Wigan are so ****. Need to imptove in the second half if we're gonna win this.

Bit of a dodgy last 20, i know Meireles hasn't been great for us thus far, but by jesus he is having a shocker tonight, his distribution is criminal, Lucas not having good game either blessed with that offside goal, and Wigan are controlling the midfield, apart from Stevie others woeful. Maxi needs to do more, the guy has to impose himself more on games. Nzogbia is the danger man as we all knew, he's having a great game.

IMO I'd be inclined to drop Kuyt in RM, bit more comfortable there than Meireles and can help Kelly out. Stick Meireles behind Torres and if he doesn't improve whip him off for Ngog. One nil is too dodgy, we can't sit deep the whole game its asking for trouble.
