They may not realise how much extra damage can be done by keeping him on for another month (for example).
Well you'd have to be stupid not to realise that. And even then, they have plenty of knowledgeable people telling them.

Nobody knows a football club better than the fans. Whatever fans say or do for bravado, deep down they know what level their club is at and what's good enough. And what's not.

Cross that bridge when we come to it. If he has success, then it's win-win.

nah come on there is more to it than that - this is new to them, and from their point of view making rash decisions is not the route to take.

we all know he needs to go, everything about Roy is wrong for LFC

+ I am speculating, I am sure he cares a lot, about £300 M worth of caring - football is a business these days and they've certainly not got into this to lose money.

Effectively you're not happy with Henry, I think give him more time but we both agree Hodgon needs to go!

Or new to the game. I share your frustration Craig, but I think you're shifting blame onto NESV a tad early mate. Give them a chance to appoint a CEO and then I'm sure the managerial changes will follow.

I can see why there are some furious posters on here at the moment though, it really is just dire under Hodgson

Yep. I've never enjoyed watching us play less, even under Souness. I still watch, but its like a car crash you just cant take your eyes off.

Be too late by then mate.

This current situation is ripping my heart out. And they're sitting by and letting it.

2 seasons in a row without champions league. Thats brilliant. All the crying about Dalglish not being able to do the job, at least the players would actually want to play for him. Results would instantly improve.

I can understand why they haven't made a quick decision, but they are wrong not to do so, they just don't know it yet.

I said just after we beat Chelsea that one swallow does not make a Summer, and boy was I right.

I was actually beginning to give Roy credit for starting to change things after the Chelsea game and boy was I wrong.

I 'd take Sounness back right now if I thought we could get rid of Hodgson.

He's just not upto the job. Nice enough guying trying hisbest, but out of his league.
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

just because they are not saying Roy is **** and we will sack him now doesnt mean they are looking for the new manager right now.
They could sack him now, make Kenny the caretaker for however long it takes for them to find the right man, and then appoint the man they want once they've found him.

They needn't keep RH in charge while they're looking.
