Dani Pacheco wants to leave Liverpool


Dani Pacheco was told by Roy Hodgson that he would be included in his plans, and the fact that the Spanish youngster has spent three years at Anfield, qualifying him as a `home-grown` talent helped him secure a professional contract at Liverpool. However, after failing to be selected by Hodgson, Pacheco wishes to leave Liverpool. Real Sociedad had wanted to take Pacheco on loan last summer.

I'm kind of Glad he's not playing. He'd look utter **** in Roy's defensive 442 set up. It would end up another talented youngster being labelled **** and moved on to make it else where.

Hopefully the manager situation is sorted soon & this will be meaningless. Every side under the first team plays a 4231 formation. So why have them all learning that way of play if the first team is going to be dinosaur rigid English tactics?

He just disappeared off the radar alltogether after the Northampton defeat. He hasn't even appeared for the reserves since as far as I've seen. It made no sense, so I just assumed he was injured. Now I'm guessing he's not.

He appears to have been made a scapegoat by Roy for that loss to Northampton IMO, which is an absolutely disgraceful way to treat a young player.

I'm sure Suso, our other top class youngster, will be less than impressed by this too
