Ray Kennedy was a special player too. Great skill, hard man and big match player.

Torres is more skilful than Rush ever was but at his peak with Rush it wasn't a question of will he score, more like how many will he score today. Great at defending from the front and excellent passer too. Also held the ball up better than most. Amazing finisher especially the way he used to round the goalkeeper, an art in itself.

Ray Kennedy was a special player too. Great skill, hard man and big match player.

I decided to limit it to players who you had seen play in your lifetime, so I can only go back to 83/84 or so.
It is a tough one, but as I say more fun to do this than to think too much about our current circumstances, it makes you remember that we are great.

I thought about this a while back and have begun to realise that as the years go bye that it gets harder and harder to pick a XI. Torres and Fowler to of my favourite players but how can I leave out Rush, Barnes, Dalglish. Then in Midfield Molby, Souness, Gerrard too hard hence I've given up. I'd rather just induct them all into a Hall of Fame

Mate, say I started really watching footy in 93, that gives me about a season of watching Rush... my real memories came from the season before Collymore joined, and when he and Fowler played together in 95/96 (?!) they were ****ing awesome. So he gets in because of that
