almost feels cheating putting anyone in from this current side. Hard to compare across generations, this team has been at the cutting edge of recruitment, analysis, diet, recovery, training etc and purpose built to play in this system and they get the benefit of greatness all around them.

Barnes, Dalglish, Souness and Hansen are the only players that would survive this team for me. That's how good we are.

I would definitely have to re-evaluate my all time 11 to include a few from this team

There was the beginings of a discussion on this on the Carra abuse/support thread, and I guess I am genuinely interested to know what people's all time first XI's are, based on players you have witnessed in your lifetime. It certainly makes a welcome distraction from arguing about Rafa/Roy etc.

I know, Brucie or Clem should perhaps go in ahead of Reina, and Rushie ahead of Torres (I would love to see Torres playing with someone like Kenny)... but what a team this would be.
