Could be Craig has done me the honour of organising the tickets for my and my old man and has even offered to drive! All we have to do is listen to him gasbag all the way there and back But seriously he has been a huge help and I wouldn't be going to the game if it wasn't for him. We are playing vs Steau away while I am still in London so I was hoping to catch up with a few fellas from here at a good pub for the game.

Ha - from some comments in this thread you'd think Spurs are Barca, not a team only three points ahead of us who've already lost to Wigan, West Ham and Bolton in the league this season.

As good as they can be on their day, in all likelihood it will be won by the odd goal either way, and we deserve a bit of luck there having been robbed on our two previous visits.

It's more down to that it is Spurs vs an away team with Hodgson as manager.

We know how the game will look like. We will sit back and invite them to have a go and we will play long balls trying with a bit of luck to find Torres.

Spurs will totally dominate the game.

I worried about this game because it's away from home, and Roy's tactics away from home tend to be worse than at home, but I think that Spurs having a couple of big games in the week before the game is a positive for us. I think we need to approach the game with an aggressive attitude, and press them, in all areas of the pitch because there's a good chance they'll tire easily. If we do as we have often done this season and sit back we play in to their hands. Lets see how we come out and approach this game.

I think the results in the next 3 games (Spurs away, Villa home and Newcastle away) will have a big impact on our season as these are the teams that are around/just above us, good results and we're right back in the chase for 4th, bad results and we're struggling.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It will be a little weird. I think it will sink in more when I am watching the Steau game during the day on TV and realising its not 3 am!

Liverpool seek cure for travel sickness

Midfielder Christian Poulsen knows Liverpool have to address their problems away from home - starting at Tottenham this weekend - if they are to mount a sustained challenge to get back into the top four.

Their record on the road is woeful, having taken just five points from a possible 21 away in the Barclays Premier League this season. However, it is a problem which has affected the team for some time as they have won only twice outside Anfield in the league since December 29.

"Tottenham will be a completely different game," said Poulsen. "We watched them against Arsenal (when they came from behind to win 3-2) and they played really well. The league is a little bit crazy at the moment and everyone is beating each other. We have to be 110% for the game in London to get something. I really hope that we can be better away, starting at Tottenham, but we have got to keep working on that. It will be a big test."

He added: "It's not only Liverpool who have had problems away, a lot of the teams are picking up their points at home."

Poulsen, who admits he has struggled to adjust to the Barclays Premier League after his summer move from Juventus, believes the team are improving after their early difficulties.

"As a team, we need to know where we are going," he said.

"It is a long season and I'm pretty sure that we are going to have to get better and better from game to game.

"I hope that we will end up in a higher position than we are now.

"The more I think about the team performance (against West Ham on Saturday) the more I think we are still in that developing stage.

"We know ourselves that we have got to be better and better."

                  He's really oozing confidence...

We're not driving to White Hart Lane Impossible to park near the ground...

We're driving to somewhere closer to an underground station and getting the train to the ground.
