    We also dicked chelsea.

I'm not saying we wont lose, but some of the towel-throwing in here is lame.

We're getting beat and beat comfortably.

It's not that i think Spurs are all that, i just think certain individuals in their side will have a field day
      ie: Bale up against Johnson
      Kuyt possbly helping protect Johnson

      - Modric running the show in the middle of midfield with no Gerrard we're ****ed in this particular area.
Lucas Leiva has curbed better players than Modric in his time.

      - The returning Defoe nicking a goal or two against an inconsistent and often fragile defence.
Same as saying Torres scoring against anyone.

      - Van Der Vaart will also fancy his chances and with the lack of pressing we seem to do under Roy, you can see him getting on the ball and creating chances all over the place.
Possibly. But by the same token, it's hard to create against a flooding defence, when there's congestion & little or no space.

      - Then there's always the possibility of Lennon rediscovering his form and taking PFK to the cleaners.
Possible again, but maybe Aurelio may play? Or maybe Lennon will just be his usual inconsistent self.

Nailed on home win i'm afraid.
Maybe, but there's very little that's 'nailed on' about Spurs, post midweek CL game.

So did Sunderland and Birmingham and Zelina are beating them

Think that puts things in perspective really

              And flmao at "dicked Chelsea"

We played well for 45 minutes and hung on for dear life in the second half

FLMAO anyone would think this was comparable to when we "dicked" Forest 5-0 in 1988

So me saying that they're great on their day, but that they do have off-days, we deserve a bit of luck there having not had any in previous visits, and that I'm clinging to the hope that they haven't been very good after playing CL football midweek means I'm saying we're Real Madrid.

                Righty-ho.

If Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea have all failed to put 4 or 5 past us so far this season, why do so many see it as an absolute certainty that Spurs will? They will probably beat us by the odd goal, but we've got a chance and it's not a formality. Personally I hope we win the game.

Hope we win (and that in no way is an endorsement of Roy).

Depends which Spurs team turns up. Arsenal should have been out of sight on Saturday.

I hope we win the game also

I also hope I end up in bed with Kelly Brook this weekend

Because Spurs are the new Barcelona and Bale is the new Messi.

                        Optimistic.

We all thought the chavs would ruin us and we turned the tables.
Lucas will stop Bale (sick of ****ing hearing about him!)

This is Spurs for the taking so we'll win - they won't see us coming...

One key point you appear to have neglected Icon:

We are away from home, against a decent team, and our manager is Roy Hodgson.

Optimism successfully dampened. Mission complete Roy. Returning to base to await new orders.

Roy has finally driven you insane then.

Subject's objectivity has been nullified. Brainwashing complete. Bonus mission was successful Roy.
