hope all you muppets who were bitching yesterday about rodgers press conference feel a bit silly now after hearing the full speach. rodgers is really impressive in the way he speaks but the media like to pick out and publish not even 2% of the overall conversation. he's deperate to keep agger and would only sell for ridiculous money which is absoloutely fine by me.

It's still inviting offers though, whichever way you look at it..

If he didn't want to sell him, all he has to say is,

"We don't want to sell him, He's not for sale, Why would we sell one of our best players to a rival etc.

He actually said a while back, that he'll fight as hard as he can to keep the players he wants..


I do believe this decision has been taken by someone other than Rodgers though..

To me thats not inviting offers. He is definately trying to put off potential suitors by quoting the silva price and claiming agger is equally as good. He knows no one would spunk 40 mill on agger. Its a good way to show we are not going to be mugged off by other clubs over agger and that rodgers has the final say. I cant undertsnd how people can take this the wrong way??

Is he also trying to offload every player at our club by saying what he does? He openly said he wants to keep skrtel but then says "any player" at the club has a price so to speak.
