A fit Agger leads to a more secure defence. They have been a shambles recently when he's not in the team.

They're our two best individual defenders and our most sensible partnership. Unfortunate that both are lefties but at this point it's worth a shot to see how one of them (probably Agger) handles playing on the other side.

Because right-footers are more common, so in youth most right-footers will at some point be forced to play on the left when teams don't have the lefties to play in those positions. So they tend to be more comfortable on their weaker foot.

Or at least that's the theory. **** knows if it's right. Want to see them together anyway.

Could well be. I thought agger had a good game, but he played a few dubious balls to Johnson that lead to us losing possession in our own half. Bound to be rusty though. Great to have him back.

Was decent but does look rusty. Was never the quickest but much like Lucas seems to have lost that extra yard.

Hopefully he can stay fit and we can finally get a settled CB pairing. For me, Skrtel and sahko is our best pairing though.
