If Arsenal do want Agger I hope we're asking for more than the £15m they're getting for their crock now. They're similar players but a deal between us would be a deal between rivals.

Vermalen is an excellent defender but he's a perm crock and looked appalling on times last season. If he can stay injury free & finds previous form he could be a good buy but it seems very pricey & very risky.Comment

Brendan Rodgers insists Liverpool FC are yet to receive any offers for Daniel Agger.
The defender sat out the win over Borussia Dortmund on Sunday with a knee problem, and has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Anfield in recent weeks.
But Rodgers said: “I saw some stories on Agger, but we haven’t had any enquiries. Daniel is still getting some work done on his knee. He’s been unfortunate since the tour of America, but we haven’t had anything, no offers.”
Rodgers also revealed £20m man Lazar Markovic could be fit for his side’s Premier League opener against Southampton this weekend.
He said: “Hopefully, Lazar will be available. If not for Sunday, certainly for the next week. He’s had a slight problem with his tendon, but he’s up to speed, working with the sports science team and looking very strong. And if he just misses out next week, he’ll certainly be available for the next game.”
