I hope they do sell up, before the transformation into mid table fodder is complete. Nice people but without the resources you are going to suffer in the PL.

Sorry, but they are not responsible for our current position.

Cautious probably, but I've a niggling doubt they would let us go if the could get a return or even a small profit on us. I do think they misjudged the circus surrounding football and transfers.

Well they certainly are not improving the situation are they? And they have to take some stick - especially for the whole stadium saga.

Nice people but I get the feeling JW Henry doesn't suffer fools gladly nor does he accept mediocrity.

By the end of August I think we will have an idea of where they want to be or if even they want to be here or not

I don't agree mate, I would rather they thought seriously about the stadium situation than rush into it and I can understand their caution having had so much money wasted previously and by trying to find the right manager.

Personally I think it was Kenny and Comolli and the after effects of H&G.

I think you're right the bulk of the blame must be Kenny, Comolli and H&G, but FSG must have sanctioned the fees being paid, they have to take some small part of the blame.

And who appointed Kenny and Commolli? Buck stops with FSG I am afraid. They said watch what we do, well it will be 2 years soon since they took control and they have not been able to arrest the alarming decline.

not for lack of money thrown at the problem though tee. maybe a lot of it was offset, but they entrusted a legend with an absolute fortune, and it didn't pay off. name me 5 people that didn't want to see kenny given the job on a permanent basis. there was every reason to trust him. of course he ****ed it up, but who actually saw that coming after what he did for us the end of the previous season?

Is £12m a window an absolute fortune in the grand scheme of things though ?

we didn't spend 12m though. we spent more like 100m. maybe 12m of it came from their pockets, but the rest was still money.

or are you getting confused because all of those players combined are now worth 12m?

Matt quoted a net spend of £35m (and I couldn't be bothered checking) over Kenny's reign hence the three windows = £12m.

That said that's probably the ballpark value figure for them
