Get the impression Agger is a fan of LFC though. I think he will stay on.

I cannot see Agger going to Barca for few reasons.

He is die-hard LFC fan and something very drastic would need to happen to force him to look elsewhere.

He is prone to injuries and that doesn't make him very attractive proposition for Barca.

And also Barca is after Thiago Silva from AC Milan and the player has expressed interest to join them so it will be up to clubs to see if they can work out some arrangement

Personally I would like to see Agger made vice captain with a view to him replacing Gerrard as captain as Gerrard begins to play less and less. Agger epitomises all that is good about LFC, and plays the sort of football the club strives to be remembered for.

I saw kjear a couple of times for Roma last year, and he never had a game as solid as that one, we as a club have seen him do it to Skrtel and even Carra.

If we can keep him fit he should be the very first name on the team sheet.

It really is a shame he suffered so much with injuries. If Pepe regains the form we know he is capable of, with Lucas coming back we should be really solid again next season if Agger stays fit.

+ side to that is if he can stay fit then he could and should be able to carry on playing longer
