Well we should hold firm and not sell him then.

Obviously Agger is pure class and we'd all be gutted to lose him. But £25-£30 million for an injury prone defender would be too good to turn down in my opinion. That's if he wants to go of course. Hopefully he stays.

If that's the case then we need to tie him down to a long term contract. If he doesn't want to sign then we need to sell him this summer.

During the Euros he was vocal about wanting to stay long time.

I reckon we will keep Agger, he will flourish under the style rodgers says he is going to play.

Such a classy player, the classiest ball player we have had at CB since Hansen IMO. Obviously set back by his injuries.

I'd be gutted if he left, class act.

He'd have gone by now if Hodgson was in charge though!

Hodgson wanted him and Lucas out. Staggering.

Let's hope Agger's here next season and we get another 40 games out of him.

Why has the club let his contract run to 2 years? ****ing incompetent.
              Are we winning?

Not really Nige - for all we know discussions could have been taking place and it was on Kenny's 'To-Do List'. Now he's got to meet Rodgers, listen to his chat and then negotiate a new deal. All of which could now be on Rodgers' 'To-Do List'.

If FSG and Rodgers let him get into his final year, then I'm sure there will be a discussion on their '****ing incompetence'.

                Keep truck'n Nige.

No way. selling Agger is mental. Don't know where to start. I know the point of a forum is to express your opinion in words, but there is just so much wrong with this, you could write a book on it.

I hate seeing new posts in this thread, it's never good news

                    We need to keep him

I wouldn't blame him if he goes though. He's 28.

This would hurt as much as losing Alonso for me personally.

I think it will be a case of a writer seeing that he hasn't involved the other day then picking one of three teams that are likely to pick him up (Madrid, City, Barca) I don't think we have anything to worry about .

It could be that, I hope you're right. The Mirror certainly should be out of the loop after their scumbag reporting of the Suarez affair.

But Rodgers did state we had no injuries so why was he not involved?

It was strange and I'm concerned.
