If we sell him for anything around £13m then it's without a shadow of a doubt we're the biggest pushovers in the league when it comes to buying / selling players.

But he didn't mention City did he?Originally posted by Bender View PostWhat Agger said when Torres left: Agger. "It is unacceptable to play for one of Liverpool's arch rivals," he said. "For a Dane, it's about having respect for the club you play at. I am proud to be able to pull on my Liverpool jersey and will never go to another club in England. I would never go to Manchester United or Everton, for example. It's about a form of respect for the club.
Time to panic again everyone.

i Don't see the attraction of city for Agger. Due to his injury record it would be hard for him to cement a place in the starting 11 as they have a few decent CB's.
At Liverpool he is head and shoulders above others so is first name in defence when fit._____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

His injury record isn't THAT bad IMO:Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostIf we get £20m for a player who is normally injury hit, I'd get over it.
Class WHEN fit, but too often he's not.
2008-9: 26 games
2009-10: 36 games
2010-11: 21 games (would have been more had Hodgson selected him!)
2011-12: 33 games.
I'd rather have Agger for 25-35 games a season than almost any other CB in the league for 45 games a season personally.

£20 million plus and would cushion the blow. So many of these twitter bull**** rumours, hate ****ing twitter to be honest.
IMO Agger owes us another season, last year was the first time in years he's actually managed to consistently play. Sure if any player wants out well then as far as i'm concerned it's bad having them at the club anyways so there's the door, lets just get good money for them. ****ing twitter!!!

That's discarding the games where he was available and wasn't picked. He had two freak injuries last year so hopefully *touches wood* his injury problems are behind him.
Edit - just seen this.Ignore my first point.would have been more had Hodgson selected him!

I think that Agger's value is much more to us. The money could, if we're lucky, buy us a brilliant CB who maybe could play as well as Daniel at best.
Instead we have a beast of a player, the heartbeat of our team I think. He's brilliantly suited to Brendan's style and loves us to bits.
