No point in selling unless we get big money and put our eggs in the Hummels basket
I doubt Hummels would come to us anyway in all honesty mate. If he were for sale then half of the top teams in Europe (and Spurs
) would be in for him.
Bellamy is an interesting one. I read somewhere yesterday - can't remember where - that his partner is struggling to settle on Merseyside. Might be guff but there could be something in it.

I hope BR does adopt a big club mentality, i.e we do not sell our best players. Could not give a **** if it made financial sense tbh, we are aspiring to be the best and we need to keep our best players, regardless of age."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." We cannot dilute the first team further. If anything, we should be seeing decent money spent to back the new manager ffs

They are awful, one of their transfer loons was on last night saying they had a passing interest but are now moving on to other targets.Originally posted by Gibbo9 View Post@SkySports: Sky Sports understands Liverpool have rejected two offers from Manchester City for defender Daniel Agger. #LFC #MCFC http://t.co/p6shK0la

Nah I know mate, just getting Hummels would soften the blow of losing Agger a fair bitOriginally posted by Lee View Post

Papapapdopulous is a good shout, think bigger teams will have their eye on him though I'd imagineThe times they are a changin'.

Haven't seen much of Papapapdopulous other than the games at the Euro's.
Can't we just keep Agger?

I am not sure I will be able to cope with this if we sell Agger. He is a lynchpin of the team, a symbolic player and if we lose him it will be a massive blow, especially losing him to another PL club.
FSG need to look at the bigger picture now and for the sake of the club seriously look to bring in partners or new owners who can actually compete with the likes of City, Chelsea and Madrid. Over reacting maybe, but it is genuinely how I feel (and have felt for a long time now)."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley
