Encouraging words from Tony Barrett.
I can Remember when Owen mysteriously was left out of a qualifier for the Champions League in 2004. He was sold within days to Real Madrid (although TBF it wasn't much of a mystery, it was expected as he had less than a year to run on his contract). My kebab comes with chilli sauce

"He is fit, but I have to make sure he is up to speed before he plays, because everyone knows his history with injuries."
**** knows to be honest but at this time of the year, exclusion will often mean behind the scenes goings on. Often, but not always i guess.

I can't see Dagger leaving, not this window anyway. I don't see the logic in selling him anyway, not for less than 25mil which i doubt anyone is going to stump up that money for him..
Our defence is the least of our worries, Skrtel and Agger are beasts in the middle, Johnson and Enrique beast out the wings. if anything we should be looking to replace Carra, for the inevitable time that he retires which will probably be in 10years time or so... unless we're trying to bring Sama, wilson or wisdom through in the next season, which would be great.****ter: m4dhatter

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I love Agger, and if I'm completely honest I could see why he would want to go to Barca/Madrid, and I'd he did leave for one of those teams I would be absolutely gutted he left but if we got a decent fee then for me I wouldn't hold it against him.
Similar to the Masch situation, I remember even though it was pretty much nailed on he was going he absolutely played his bollocks off in his last game. And I don't blame him for leaving either. Especially under Hodge. The times they are a changin'.
