Good let's hope he's got the message. Sod off he's not for sale.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Not quite time to panic, but another season in the wilderness (which seems more than likely) and the gap may be too big to bridge for a very long time.

£25million for Agger or a player for the next couple of seasons not knowing if can stay fit the whole season or at least half the season ? this is the question !

Vertonghen was bought for 7m by spurs and theyre talking about ashley williams. god I hope thats not true because I dont think hes all that.

If rodgers blows this big time we might end up with some mid table players who were bought for a lot of Money.

The problem is that as a big club we are going to pay over the odds for a player, if some midtable club are selling a player if someone like Villa are interested then the price will be reasonable, if we are then in for said player then his price will go up significantly, it's the same for any big club.

Keep him!!! What about Gerrard? He is injury prone as well isn't he? Either we want to keep our best players or we don't. And it seems like we may be having a significant shift in policy whereby every player is available for the right price. Small club mentality.

Worrying times ahead if we do end up selling Agger as no doubt we will use the money to buy some overated, overpriced british **** (Ashley Williams) god help us.

You can understand why fsg wanted someone in the dof role. Its a bridge between the owners and the manager but equally important its someone to oversee the footballing philosophy at the club regardless of who the manager is. the dof could provide reasoned arguments for not selling the likes of agger or skrtel because hes aware of their capabilities.

The same goes for the academy. In three or four years weve had rafa hodgson kenny and now rodgers as the manager all with their own styles of playing. How annoying it must be for rodolfo and pep to be continuously changing the style of play and the tactical approach to football at academy level. Theres been four tactical approaches in four years.

I understand that the academy has to play the same style as the first team but manager merry go rounds can really make things very hard for academy directors to produce players ready for the first team.

Fsg have given rodgers a carte blanche. If he makes a balls up of this we could be in a much bigger mess than when hodgson was here
