Thanjk you.

It does make you wonder how all these quotes from Agger would be perceived by Mancini and the City management team.
I mean, how would we react if Sahin came out and blatantly said 'Well I would go to Liverpool if I had no choice but I'd rather go to Arsenal' or if Dempsey said 'My priority is to stay at Fulham, but if the club want to sell me then I don't want to stay where I'm not wanted'. To blatantly say that you'd only go to City if you were unwanted at your current club must surely make City think twice - the fans on Blue Moon are all pretty annoyed and the reaction seems to be if he wants to stay there then good luck to him (to put it mildly).
TBH if i was at LFC and i wanted to stay and the manager wanted me to stay i'd be saying the same things as well. As long as the manager wanted me that would be all that mattered. Some board Mmember or MD wouldn't force me out the club as long as i had the backing of the manager.

Good on Agger IMO
I totally agree mate. Got nothing but respect for Agger and hope he stays. It seems crazy to sell him at all - let alone less than a week before the season starts.
But what I'm saying is that it seems strange that City actually still want to sign him after - in effect - being relegated to second choice. They are PL champions so surely can find a centre half who is keen on playing for them? Irrespective of whether we want to sell him or not. I dunno if I'm expressing myself that well, but I know that I wouldn't want us to sign a player whose heart wasn't in playing for Liverpool. Hopefully Mancini and co feel the same about City.

Not sure Agger is injury prone though. He was injured a lot in his first 2/3 seasons but then he got better. Played the majority of games last season I think. I can understand the logic in that but we're far better having a player of his quality playing 80% of the games on our books than one playing for our rivals as it merely strengthens them.
