When will it sink in that he's not getting fired? And at what point will you question Nesv if he continues to hang on?Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostI agree that Craig's slagging off of NESV is OTT and a little premature at this stage. We don't know what they are doing (which is as it should be), and I'm glad they haven't made a snap decision without a solid plan in place.
I still have faith that Roy will be gone soon enough, probably when we least expect it.Forwards.......

I think with Kuyt in front of him we have a good right hand side with Kuyt working hard there to. Have miles more problems thatn Johnson tbh.Originally posted by danperkins View PostFor sure i completely agree. But of of the opinion that your defenders need to be able to defend first and foremost. We have issues defensively and looks nervous right across the back line. Johnson does not do us any favours in our back line IMO._____________________________________

Kinda my point, mateOriginally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostGet real. We are out of it.
Don't get me wrong, cahnge manager today and I would reconsider. But that is not going to happen and as such we have no hope of 4th place.
Our away form is so bad it's beyond a joke.
All this celebrating of a narrow defeat to Spurs is so small time. Especially when you have to consider that beating us is the first time Spurs have won a game after playing Champions League football in the mid week. Plus Spurs had two early injuries to cope with.
We played a rival for 4th who were there for the taking and after having them on the back foot we surrendered momentum. We did the same against Wigan and others, but I put it down to us having played in Europe and being tired. Yesterday we were the fresher side so there are no excuses anymore.
We capitulated for the umpteenth time this season and I'm afraid there is nowhere esle to lay the blame anymore. It is the fault of Roy and under him we are dead in the water.

As they emphasised all along, we should make a judgement on their 'actions'.Originally posted by red g View Postwe are out of it with the present structure.
In fact present structure i think 10th would be our upper end limit.
I also think you should reign in your slagging off NESV. I refuse to believe they have there head in the sands over this.
Well thus far - none. Other than sitting back and watching the club slowly be destroyed beyond (reasonably-short-term) repair.

I'd give up. Some just don't get it.Originally posted by Craig_H View Post
I'm not saying we change our system to suit one player.
I'm saying we change our system, because i want us to be an ATTACKING side. And Johnson is perfectly suited to an attacking system/side.
The fact that we're a negative, cautious side which doesnt suit him, IS in no way his fault. He doesnt implement the mindset into the players.
Everytime we've attacked teams this year we've been the better side. Spurs and Chelsea games are perfect examples. We are easily the best team for 45 minutes and deserve to be leading.
Second half we drop off and get played off the park.
Then there is Blackpool. Attack for a bit, then sit back and end up being behind. Come out second half and pressure them, and we nearly do enough to get a point, but for a wonder save by their keeper.
Everytime we have gone to win, as opposed to trying to avoid defeat, we have been the best side.Forwards.......

Assuming you're right there, and let's say hypothetically, that he is sacked mid december...Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostI agree that Craig's slagging off of NESV is OTT and a little premature at this stage. What exactly will have been achieved, by having kept him on for those 2 months? Other than giving us 2 months less time to rescue our season and therefore making the task massively harder, i mean.

I won't judge NESV until January. The last thing they were going to do was come in with a new broom sweeps clean attitude. They are learning the game and seems they don't want to make any swift/rash decisions straight off the bat.
I want Roy out for sure, i do not feel this club can progress or get back to former glory under this particular manager. I think they are giving him adequate time to prove himself, obviously we think/know that this ain't gonna happen but people were very naive to think that the NESV were gonna come in and solve all our problems right away. We are a damaged club and it will take to to mend, there is no quick fix. Lets hope January is a starting point and a platform to build from.
As for when Roy will go, well he was always gonna hang on in there until at least January. I'm sure NESV are clued into what the fans opinions are about him, but we are a fickle bunch too and of course they will not be bullied into making a decision by fans. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for the time being and hope that when the time comes to make important decisions, they act on it. I refuse to believe that these guys, who paid so much money for our club are not making serious moves behind the scenes and doing everything they can to get us back to were we belong.

Danny, you know what this reminds me of..............Broughton, purslow et al.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostWhen will it sink in that he's not getting fired? And at what point will you question Nesv if he continues to hang on?
I remeember in the summer people were slagging them off to high heaven, Broghton knows ****, scamming liverpool for his big pay cheque, talking crap la la la. Twitter going mad, itk's coming out with all sort of ****. Then Bang and deal done. We knew **** all.
I won;t get it into my head that RH is syaing as its not logical. We are LFC, they are NESV they back winners, they make winners.
That guy who has supported us for 20years, do you think he is not bending JH's ear to how bad we really are? they might not know football, but they know people who do oh and to top it off tomkins and henry have met....how do you think that conversaton went?
Keep the faith._____________________________________

both roy and NESV have untill jan 31st in my eyes. roy to get the right player in and show an improvement in results. NESV to show they will invest in the squad and will make the big decisions.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostWhen will it sink in that he's not getting fired? I agree with all that, but the fact that they're still allowing him to remain in charge seems to defy all that logic.Originally posted by red g View PostDanny, you know what this reminds me of..............Broughton, purslow et al.

I really really think they are searching the globe as we speak or waiting fo there man. Maybe for whatever reason they feel they cant sack him till the new man is in place?Originally posted by Craig_H View PostI agree with all that, but the fact that they're still allowing him to remain in charge seems to defy all that logic.
Giving Kenny the job on a temp basis which is what i would like creates tis own problems.......If he did well and they had been negotiating with a manager from another club what happens then? Maybe Kenny doesnt want to take it ona temp basis?_____________________________________
