Strange i always get the feeling your trying to be argumentative, wonder why that is

And **** off with that 'trying to be argumentative' bollocks, you arrogant cunt.

Dan, calling Craig argumentative was only going to provoke a reaction, Craig's reaction was imo ott and I have messaged him about it. Argue the point without getting personal

Having watched the highlights, it really irks how easily we should have won this game.

I watched the game again and I couldn't shake it the same feeling. Those misses really cost us the game and having Konk as first choice LB...

                Amen to that.
Where's SOS when you need them, this is something they could do that is worthwhile and achievable.
It's interesting that a lot of local fans criticise the OOTers but it seems to me the local ones, the hardcore guys who stand on the Kop are apathetic when they are the ones who can help the sitution.
Not criticising them personally or questioning their commitment but they are the ones who have the power to make a difference and are doing nothing about it.
They are settling for mid table obscurity

They just have a certain set of values. Tbh, they shouldn't have to call for the managers head, it should be obvious he should go. Maybe there is nothing that can be done and Nesv would rather wait.

I admire the values but surely the values need to move with the times??
The Liverpool values are what held us back with Parry & Moores when Man U were changing with the times and developing the ground, increasing marketing etc...

The world changes and Liverpool FC and it's fans have to move with it. I'm confident NESV have their finger on the pulse so long term doesn't worry me, what does worry me is the impact Hodgson will have on the short term that will take years to recover from

I have been trying to get around to this for a while, but haven't had the time.

One of the most amazing experiences of my life. The atmosphere, the sheer number of people filling the stadium and the passion. Its the stuff I dream of seeing back home and it was incredible.

As Craigybabes will agree with, I literally jizzed at the sight of Fernando on the pitch The action different view from seeing them play live was so good and the players are more than pictures now.

The game was so intense and so fast, and the lack of pressure from us showed in real life.

Its a shame it didn't go our way. The kuyt foul in the box was right infront of us and it was all studs, could have well been a red outside the box. We were just too slow in defence and PFK was horrible. Nonetheless it was an amazing experience and I can't wait to do it again

Excellent. to the bit in bold.

In relation to Craig's point that we should have easily won this game with the chances we had I have to disagree. Granted we should have scored more than one but then so should have spurs - they actually scored twice, missed a penalty, had one disallowed and missed a fair few chances. If you look at the stats Spurs had almost double the amount of chances we did.

I'm not saying we didn't play a bit better than usual, especially in an attacking sense, but rather we've all got used to us playing absolutely appallingly and negatively and when we do play a bit better start to think we're playing much better than we actually are. The Hodgson effect if you will. I hate him.

I have to disagree. Yes Spurs had more chances, missed penatly, had a goal disallowed etc. but it is all irrelevant and it has be seen in context of timing. If Maxi scored right after first one and Nando at the begining of second half there is no way they would come back from 3:0.

So you DONT think we could've easily won it with the chances we had?

My post didnt say that Spurs couldnt had also won it - merely that, with our chances (especially the timing of them), we could've won it it.

                            Not sure how that's disputable

I've edited my post but i initially put Craig had said we could have won the game where i meant to put he said we should have easily won.

Big difference. Of course we could have won if we'd taken our chances and Spurs hadn't taken as many of their chances as we did

I know what you're saying but Spurs also had chances in between our chances. If Modric had put away, what was for him, a fairly straightforward chance after about 10 mins (i think) then it would have been a different game completely......in fact seeing as though we've failed to come from behind to even get a draw this season we would have most probably lost.

Your post said we should have won it with the chances we had. Of course we could have won it but that would have pretty much depended on us taking all of our chances, which rarely happens.

I think it is entirely disputable that we should have won it. On the other hand as long as we have one effort on goal/chance in any given game it can be argued that we could have won it
