This is the bit that seems to go over the top of a lot of the fans heads. Hodgson is capable of putting us back 5 years by being here just 12 months.

That's a great excuse for passing the ball and standing still. Which I seen him doing more then once. A young player looking to break into the side should be showing a lot more then he did that's for sure.

Easier to blame Roy though and pretend everything is rosy.
